Butter

The Ethiopian QSA describes butter as a fatty product obtained from cow milk or from cream or curd obtained from cow milk with or without the addition of common salt. On top of that, no preservatives except common salt and no coloring matter except annatto or carotene may be added, according to the authority. It is also specified that butter should be free from any other animal fats, wax and mineral oils, vegetable oils and fats.

Moreover, the Company will make available exotic cow breeds, animal feed and male calves for veal and culled cows for beef. The manure can be used as natural fertilizer of land and as an input for biogas production.
